I Henry was born in 1008. Henri became king of France in 1031.
But Robert, Henry's brother. He did not accept Henry's kingdom. But Henry, who did not want an internal rebellion, tried to negotiate with Robert. And as a result of this negotiation, Henry transferred the Burgundian administration to Robert. After Henry ended the internal rebbelions, he started a war against Normandy. But Henry lost two battles against Normandy. After this incident Henry tried to convince Normandy's barons with bribes and to make the barons revolt against Normandy.
Henry also believed that he needed to pursue a peaceful policy to strengthen France after the fail Normandy wars. And so, Henry signed a peace treaty with the Holy Roman Roman Empire. And Henry tried to solve every problem through negotiation.
Henry passed away in 1060.
