I just finished a 9.05km running that lasted about 0hh:40mm:6ss !

Most of my recent runs, I changed the plan on the fly, so today, just like last run, I didn't have any other objective than running at least 4 miles, under 7:30min/mile. Mission accomplished with a bit over 5 miles and a half, and under 7:10min/mile pace.

Not sure why, but the first mile was really tough. My breathing was all over the place, and I was quickly gasping for air. My legs were not sore, but somehow did not feel great. But it got better, and I was able to run at a somewhat consistent pace the whole way. I wanted to go back in the woods at least for a little bit, but during my pre-walk with the dogs, I noticed there were way too many people enjoying the sun. So, I stuck to one of my usual routes, except for some small detours. This way, I know when I can turn back if I get tired, or keep going if I feel good.

Cadence stayed at 172, but apparently I was on target for 1% of the run. Okay, it's not much, but still better than all my recent runs at 0%. Next time, I'll try 2%!
Been running every other day since last Sunday, and if time allows tomorrow, I'm hoping to go for some intervals on the high school track. Let's see if I can keep this frequency.
