I just finished a 9.898km running that lasted about 0hh:43mm:42ss !
Today was not really sunny, but warm for Michigan in November. Not sure why, but I was still quite sore from Tuesday run, more than I should have. But I just wanted to add some mileage, and get my body used again to running at least 3 times a week. So, my target was just to run more than 4 miles, under 7min30 per mile, which is significantly slower than even my slowest runs of the past few months, but not too bad either. I ended up running pretty much a 10k in 44 minutes, so much better than expected.
For once, I had just enough time before night fall for a small ~1 mile detour in the woods at the beginning of the run. It was fun but a bit dangerous, even with daylight visibility. As you can see from from the cover photo (taken during my early afternoon walk with the dogs), the trail is completely covered by a thick carpet of leaves, and you can't see roots, holes, etc... Not good for my weak ankles. But it went okay.
My cadence was even lower than last time at 170spm, for a target at least at 180spm. That's disappointing, but I'm not giving up just yet. I'll try again the next few runs.
This week end is supposed to be really sunny and warm, almost hot. So, if I'm not hiking, I'll be running and biking.
Thanks for stopping by and keep Exhausting!
