The world in recent days
has been engulfed
in a wave of madness and fantasy
yesterday after watching the news
I asked myself
Should the world be?

Perhaps a silly question
for realistic people
who step on the ground
and never go to look at the clouds
because their head is heavy
of so many useless ideas

Rivers should be made of chocolate
so they don't pollute them
and confuse them with dirty water
Can you imagine
they would no longer throw garbage away
And few would dare to pollute it.

Should the world be?
Of cotton candy
At least the clouds
Maybe the birds would be loving
And when it rains
the floods would be made of sugar.

The world should be made of gumdrops
So everything would be more flexible
And for its colorful harbor
from the problems
wars and life
would be more beautiful...

The world should be made of lollipops
because instead of complaining
we would spend sucking it
all the time
maybe we would be happier
and dentists would be millionaires
And what do you think?
The world should be?
