Being disenfranchised with the world and one's place in it is not new but it is especially strong right at the moment. I've been struggling to maintain my-self lately. Both physically and mentally, of course the two go hand in hand, I got myself stuck in the work loop. Work sleep work sleep. Not a desireable way to spend my time. So I'm writing here to offer myself some wisdom, hopefully I can take my own advice.
Lets suppose that you were able (every night) to dream any dream you wanted to dream. And that you could, for example, have the power to dream within one night, 75 years of time.
And you would naturally, as you began on this adventure of dreams, you would fufuil all of your wishes, you would have, every kind of pleasure you could concive.
It is your solem duty to enjoy yourself.
A Child Wonders
Go back to your childhood, what were the fascinating things? Whats out there, whats beyond the stars, how long does it go on? The child wonders, is excited, that this is something that never ends
Different Points of View
Now we come here right at the start of an extremely important principle. Which is, the different points of view you get when you change your level of magnification. That is to say you can look at something with a microscope and see it a certain way. You can look at it with the naked eye and see it a certain way. You can look at it with a telescope and see it another way.
Now Which level of magnification is the correct one.
Well obviously they're all correct.
The're just different points of view.
Stick with it to become a Master
See what we are doing.. is, we are bringing up children and educating them, to live the same sort of lives we are living.
If you do really like what your doing
It doesnt matter what it is
You can eventually become a master of it.
The only way to way to become a master of somthing is to be really with it.
Control
Let's have a dream which isn't under our control, where something is gonna happen to me that I dont know what it's gonna be, you would dig that and come out of that and say wow that was a close shave wasnt it. Then you would get more and more adventurous making Further and further out gambles as to what you would dream
And finally you would dream where you are now
Adult power game
Now the child, as a child, doesn't know how to play the adults game, which is the power game, and so has to be educated to learn the values of the power game. When he masters that game when he realized it has no rewards. All the things the adults thought they were gaining are after all not worth having.
Which is why you can be rich and miserable.
Having learned and seen through the adult power game, you come back to the point of the child. From the child's point of view, things that the adult considers irrelevant to survival are perfectly important.
You get old because you stop playing
You don't stop playing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop playing
Belcome as a child again
Now do you see that, that situation, is what's called life
To be wise you have to become again as a child.
To become as a child, means, that you do things which adults consider unimportant.
Wisdom doesn't come from above down, it comes from below up.
It's so important to consider this question: what do I desire?
