Champions League - Group Phase Wrap-up

Good Day,

Champions League Group Phase is over. We are waiting for one last report from @allonyx.ngs. However, in terms of players' positions in the groups, all is clear. I will therefore present the results as final and edit the post when the missing report comes in.

Champions League

Top 2 players in each group advance to the Champions League Quarterfinals. Players who finished 1st will be seeded in order of their total score (descending) and will face the 2nd placed players, sorted by their total score (ascending). Simply put - the best player from 1st place, will meet the 2nd-placed player with the lowest total etc.

Players who finished 3rd, will be transferred to Consolation Cup Quarterfinals, where they will meet the players who had battled thru the said Cup. Seeding by total score.

We have had several W/Os. The final tables below account walk-overs as "30:0". However, for the purpose of QFs seeding, real scores have been taken into account

Even though one match result is missing, the order of players will not change. @allonyx.ngs will be able to defend the Champions League title and @danmaruschak will certainly make a go for it. @fredkese in his very first season in the Elite did very well and will play in the Consolation Cup. @new.things will be eager to try his luck next season.

@dragokazo and @edycu007 have both finished with 12 points. The former has a higher total score and therefore wins the group. @sk1920 won the two last games and made it into the 3rd place at the expense of @homesteadlt.

Group C

@deepresearch hasn't published reports for the last three match days and therefore presented his opponents with easy wins (W/O). @browery and @manuvert were out of reach and checked in the QFs early on. @mariya36 will play in the Consolation Cup.

Group D

If we sum up the total scores, group D has been the strongest. 743 in total and only one single score was below 20. From this tough group @merthin and @bucipuci have come out on the leading positions. @flaxz secured Consolation Cup transfer in his last match against @practicaleric.

The Ranking table will decide admission and seeding into Season 10. It will be a special, jubilee and anniversary edition. 24 players will compete in SuperLeague, with a new exciting format. 24 further players will play in extended Consolation Cup play-offs. More on this later.
