When I thought things would finally open, here we are. Today my cousin and I are still in limbo. We don't know when we can finally return to our place. We're stuck and it sucks. So basically, the government recently issues an emergency lock down for about 14 days due to the Delta variant case is on the rise. The current travel regulation said that we must provide negative antigen test 1x24 hours or 2x24 PCR test with a vaccination card at least the first dose. I had to refund my ticket back home since I can't go home yet. As for my cousin his train is cancelled and now we are still looking for a train back home. My mom on the other hand is safe since she returned early. And for me, I have my apartment and it's okay except that I have to experience another days locked up inside my room once more.
Here is the announcement about it and some information regarding the new rules about train departure. They are tightening the border once again and I have no idea why I am quite anxious. I have predicted this to be the case since I was home. Now, I can see that I won't leave my apartment until December. Since my mom is planning to take the vaccination, I can simply ask her to visit me instead of me going to her.
This is the new world we live in. You can't really plan anything. All you can do is just have lots of cash handy and plenty backup plans just in case things go wrong like what happened to me and my family during our short vacation.Oh yeah, don't forget to be insured as well. I tried to add insurance plan to every of my booking just in case something happen, I am already insured.
