The possibility is endless…
One day, I told myself that when I got a camera, I would go out there and thoroughly explore it. I wanted to be full time on the road and see what life has to offer more. I wanted to talk to more people, see the world with my own eyes, and capture it through a camera so others could experience it as well. I used to think that having a smartphone would be enough, after experiencing hunting yesterday, I changed my mind. There’s a whole lot of interesting experiences and feelings when you get a grip of a camera.

I have been on the road for quite a while and you know, traveling here and there. But what I experienced after yesterday is that people sort of don’t mind and don’t show annoyed faces when I point and shoot with a camera. Instead, they are posing to look their best. They didn't mind that I was taking pictures of their food, of the environment, of places. I could also sort of hide my shyness with a camera. A friend of mine once hinted, that it could boost confidence for people like myself and that is right, I experienced that. Whereas with a smartphone, I didn't feel right and just sort of avoided taking more pictures.
Out of the blue, just hours before hivefest 6, I wanted to do some hunting and explored places. I booked a grab car for 6 hours and went to some high peaks in the city, a very amazeballs restaurant, some mini temples and the lively street food market that I never explored before. All the details would soon come out and there are stories there and recommendations. Though I felt so exhausted and felt like I had a long day, I suppose, it was a good one because I finally tested my camera and finally got to attend my first hive fest! but here we go, some of my shoots from yesterday!
Merapi Mountain
The first picture that I wanted to show you is this volcanic mountain called Merapi. I haven’t been there and hiked it and only today I got to see it from the hills. It was so amazing and so cool to see it up there and capture it. I have a lot of pictures but I still need to retouch them all.
Abyhagiri Restaurant
The next one is this restaurant overlooking the mountain and the temple. This place is so romantic and amazing. I got plenty of cool shots here and this is where I learned how to take flower pictures, close up shots and landscapes mode.
Breksi Hills
And as the sky gets darker, I visited a carved hill. It was so packed but interesting to see other people there. I also saw misty mountain and was inside the miss for some parts of my journey
After hunting today, I realized so many things I have not seen with my eyes and experience. On a good note, the camera battery lasted for more than 7 hours and I was happy. It means that the camera doesn’t eat up batteries and can last for quite a while more than 200-300 shots. I also got good advice from my first post that I intended to explore more.
