Good morning to all my wonderful friends here. How are all of you?
There is a new restaurant here that has just opened and serves halal dim sum. Dim Sum is a type of traditional Cantonese dining experience featuring a wide variety of small, bite-sized plates—such as dumplings, buns, and rolls—served alongside hot tea. I wanted to come here a couple of weeks ago but it was always quite full so I only came today due to the number of diners not being a lot.
The menu
This is the place where the drinks are made. The lighting is bright but in the warm shade of yellow. This type of lighting is comfortable and you don't feel too pressured while your here sitting eating your meal.
Fried Yam
This is more crispy than the one made at other places around Miri.
Wu Gok (deep-fried taro dumpling puffs)
The best thing to do is to take the first bite. The middle filling part is the best part.
A cup of hot coffee. The best thing to have to start the day.
Porridge
This bowl of porridge is great to warm the belly and the best thing to have. The food of the soul.
HALAL SOM MAI
Usually, in a Chinese restaurant, these are made of pork but here this is made of chicken meat. These are quite chewy.
Custard bun with soft yellow filling inside made of egg yolk
These are my favourite. The middle part of the bun is filled with yummy, delicious yellow semi liquite custard.
The prawn dumplings
The only thing about this is that it is slightly smaller in size. Usually, at a lot of dim sum places, these are served huge in size. These prawns inside are soft and chewy.
This is the view from the shop. The location of this restaurant is in the Marina Business District of Miri. This is a place where lots of new premium shops open.
The price of the food here is slightly on the higher side, but the food is worth the taste. The best time to come here is during weekdays when there are not many
