It was his silver tail with black spots. I had never seen anything more magnificent than it, and I have seen my fair share of cat tails. The fur is a glossy and expensive coat, the hair like pointy needles, the way they were standing erect.
I guess any other human would be drawn by his blue retina that contrasted with the flush white background. Anyone would be entranced in the way it focuses on you and seems to bore into you, gleaming your soul.
Preys shuddered and scampered away upon sighting him. You wouldn’t understand why, until you saw him open his mouth, flick his long pink tongue over his porcelain teeth - ends sharped by nature and years of making enemies pay. When he growled, it sounded more of a dog than a cat.
The sound arose something in my loins.
I bent over and leaned on my forelimbs, one over the other, watching through my shadow cast eyes as he sauntered toward me. I have always loved the way cats strode like the world belong to them. There is a reason why we humans call the best sort of walks ‘catwalks’. One limb directly in front of the other...
He had gotten so close that I could sniff his scent. Distinct, male, electrifying. Then I saw his eyes rest on me, feeling it wash over me like a ray of light.
I almost instinctively followed his gaze but I stop myself. That isn’t a good way to react when your crush looks at you. Moreover, you know what you will find there. A lean body clothed in brown fur, shiny silver whiskers at the sides of your mouth, well manicured nails on white paws.
“Hey sexy,” he said. You knew that to human ears it was a simple "meow". But in the weeks since after you had permanently acquired this form, you have come to understand Catolonia well enough to speak it.
“Hey, you... you're not looking bad, yourself.” You said. Then you smiled coyly and wagged your tail.
