Greetings one and all
bearing witness to this Great Work!
I am undertaking this journey,
one of rediscovery and unlearning,
on the very nature of darkness
in its relation to light.
It shall constitute an exercise
in simple complexity,
whereas paradoxically complex simplicity,
dualistic, yet unified,
remains distinctively separate, while whole,
thus seeking to reconcile duplicities
in the prism of the mind's eye
as they fancy to dance around one another.
This endeavor must as well strive
to balance contradicting ideas,
matching opposite thoughts,
so they destroy each other as they rise
from our stream of consciousness,
hence achieving that delicate state of equilibrium
so necessary to our understanding of the universe...
Therefore, I shall devote myself,
under your ever watchful eye,
over the coming days, weeks and months,
to this most solemn task, through essay, poem and prose,
as I explore with you the many ways
one can manage to create light from darkness!
