I have this old Lumix G85 Panasonic thats a decent camera Im utterly inept in using. 50 images done, only got 1 usable out of it for the website.
This stuff is genuenly hard.
Lightbox attempts all failed. The watch is too reflective catches all the LEDs on it. So i took it outside but reflectivness again, ruins things. Either the Hive logo reflects poorly or the dial looks matte, glossy finish not visible. The crystal catches light blurs everything behind it.
Im a notorious DIY guy so ill keep trying. In a few hundred photos I am hoping to get a few right. Downloaded GIMP and Darktable for the color grading etc. Ill see if theres anything else I can use but from my experience so far, if you dont get the photo right initially, since I cant photoshop its hard to adjust things.
So far at 1 usable image. Need 4-5 more.
