Hive has kept a perfect record of every downvote, every mute and every reward taken since 2016. Who flagged whom, who got shunned, who has been quietly cashing out the pool. All public. All sitting right there. Nobody ever read it out loud.
So Lumen does now.
Top right, Profile picture menu, Inquisition mode, flip the switch. The whole site goes dark, because obviously it does.
What you get
Five boards. The chain's most downvoted, most muted, the busiest downvoters, the biggest cash-outs and the people crossposting in the bad place. Ranked, sortable, with receipts.
A record on every profile. Arm it and every profile you open gets a strip of eight numbers under the header. Hover any of them for the detail behind it.
That's it. It reads, it doesn't do anything else.
The boards
KE Index. What was taken, over what was kept.
A high number is a cash-out habit, not a crime. Someone living off their payouts and a reward pool farm look exactly the same here, and the board can't tell you which one you're looking at. Neither can I.
Top Downvoted. The penitents.
Ranked by downvotes received over the whole history of the chain.
Columns: downvotes, downvoters (how many separate accounts), removed (HBD it cost them), top source (who hit them the most).
Sort by downvotes or by value removed.
Most Muted. Quietly shunned.
Columns: muted by (how many accounts), muter stake (their combined HP, in millions).
A mute is free and asks nobody's permission, so the stake is there as the corrective. Being ignored by many is not the same as being ignored by much.
Top Inquisitors. The faithful, at work.
The other end of the rod. Whole chain, pre-fork years included.
Columns: removed (HBD their downvotes took off other people), targets (how many separate accounts), downvotes cast, top target (who they hit the most).
Sort by value removed or by downvotes cast.
Downvoting is a right the chain gives everyone. This board says who uses it. Never whether they should.
Crossposting. Old loyalties.
Who is still posting to Steem, long after leaving was done and staying became a choice.
Columns: Steem posts in the last 90 days, last Steem post, last Hive post, Hive posts since the fork.

Plus the date it was indexed and how old the account is.
The last two are the point. A record that only shows what was done TO you can only ever read as innocence. So it shows what you did to everybody else too. haha.
I ran it on myself first, ofc
2,979 downvotes cast on 875 accounts. 130 HBD taken off other people's posts.
I don't remember doing that. So I went and checked every single one.
2,606 of them were a downvote trail I followed between October 2019 and December 2021, at 9% a vote. 835 in October 2019 alone. 80 of those 130 HBD are the trail's work with my name on it. The other 288 were full 100% downvotes, mostly 2019 and 2020, then a burst in 2024.
Your trails don't ask you. The chain still writes your name down.
What it won't do
It's read only. There is no mute button in it, no downvote button, no report button. Lumen keeps no list, passes no sentence. Everything on those boards was already on the chain, it just reads it back with the dates attached. What you make of it is on your conscience.

PS: It will still take quite a few hours to get all the data in since its warming it for thousands of accounts, so you might not see all pages fully populated till tomorrow.
