Hello everyone in liketu. If you're even on Tokyo, one of the stops I recommend is Asakusa. It's very accessible and you get to see and experience a lot. First, going in the area there are a lot of shops where you can buy souvenirs or some local delicacies like mochi or matcha flavored ice cream. You can take rickshaws or jinrikisha for a tour around the area. There are shops that rent kimono or yukata, the traditional Japanese clothing. That's why you can see some foreigners wearing them around the place. Finally, the main destination in Asakusa is the Senso-ji temple. It's Tokyo's oldest temple built in 645 AD. It's a temple dedicated to Kannon, the Buddhist bodhisattva of mercy. We went there twice because we weren't able to tour the whole place the first time we visited. The first time it was very hot but the on our second visit, it was raining. It was an enjoyable tour blending shopping and sightseeing.
