Plenty Peas!
Down the garden we are growing some Garden Peas, or Petits-Pois if your feeling fancy. These are quite low maintenance, all they really need is supporting because peas like to grow really tall and high and they need something to climb up on! Here is an account of their development over the past month or so!
Blossoming
As you can see the peas blossom flowers, the peas don't come out of their luckily it just makes the bush look nice! These bear fruit regularly throughout the summer and even stretching into the start of Autumn too! You need quite a bit of space but definitely get a lot of 'bang for ya buck'!
Support
As you can see above and below the peas need a lot of support, from 5ft bamboo canes, for them to grow up and get nice and tall! A bit of string attached to the fence too to help the bamboo canes themselves stay nice and upright! On the whole fruit and veggies take care of themselves but with that extra support they can do amazingly well, a metaphor for us people and for life too i suppose!
