Yesterday did not end on a happy note for me.
I was sitting reading my book when I heard a woman screaming from across the road "fire fire!!"
Then I jumped up to look and saw her running out of her dwelling with huge flames behind her - the dwelling was one of three prefab buildings where some staff of the owner lived.
The owner has a business fixing cars as well as scrapping some, so the yard always has many vehicles on it.
Within seconds the threes buildings were swallowed up in huge flames and was just a few feet away from the vehicles.
I immediately phoned the emergency services and the firemen arrived swiftly.
By this time, the buildings were gutted, but luckily they managed to stop the fire from reaching the cars etc.
Within fifteen minutes the three homes were gone and everything in them.
I felt so sorry for those poor people
During all of this, I heard from my daughter@jaynie about the passing of 
He was so talented and his passing leaves a huge void - R.I.P.
