My family has a tradition and it is... "Never arrive at a home empty handed" and we have learned and put it into practice. It is not about the monetary value, but about the good gesture, the detail.

My favorite aunt @tibilopez, her youngest daughter and grandchildren came to my house to share a couple of days before she returned home. I was pleasantly surprised when she asked if they could visit me. I didn't have to think about the answer, or look for excuses to avoid the meeting, I immediately answered that I would gladly wait for them and we started to organize what we could prepare for food and drinks.

The day of the visit arrived and although they were in another city two hours away, it took them five hours to arrive, because they were moving a machinery that covered all the canals of the regional highway of the center at a low speed and that generated a strong queue.

After going through the stress, with two small children locked in a car for five hours without even having a place to get out to buy food and stretch their legs, they finally made it.

My husband and I were waiting for them with two family pizzas, after eating, my aunt went to the bedroom and came back to the living room with a gift for me... And boy did I like it.

The next day, I told my aunt it was time to open the package and pour it into the container, coincidentally my coffee had run out and I had to buy. My grandmother is a woman who exaggerates everything and when she gets a gift, she always says it was just what she needed ha, ha, ha, ha, she also does it as a sign of gratitude.

So that my aunt wouldn't think I was adopting my grandmother's behavior, I invited her into the kitchen to verify that my coffee had indeed run out. So that gift was the most convenient thing she could have brought me.

She took the pictures while I opened and emptied the coffee package, but that wasn't all. I prepared the coffee pot to taste the beverage in my new cup and in the company of another coffee lover.

I already knew this brand of coffee and it is one of the best coffees currently being produced in the country. For the occasion we drank it black, without milk. We wanted to savor a great cup of black coffee, luckily all of us present agreed that we like coffee that tastes like coffee, that is to say, a little strong, but without exaggeration. No guayoyo (light or watered down coffee) as we say in these parts.

With the sun king covered by the clouds we enjoyed the time on the terrace, we drank coffee, talked, laughed and captured the moment for the gallery of memories.

I appreciate the gift, the visit and the shared moments. We only stayed for a couple of days, which we had a great time.

Now I have another mug for my collection. If it rains like this, I hope it doesn't stop (proverb)..
