I've seen nostalgia rise again
in the sad memory of a farewell
where every sigh tells the story
of kisses that, ignored, abandon you.
I've seen that nostalgia rise again
that ungratefully seeks to open new wounds
of forgotten dreams and caresses
leaving me to perish in this life.
