A great cultural festival began this week in the province of Ciego de Ávila in Cuba, one more anniversary of the Avila culture is being commemorated and to celebrate several activities have been carried out during the day and night.
Today I bring you some images during the opening ceremony held on the Boulevard, where artists and villagers enjoyed the singing and dancing of some children, we also had the opportunity to see some members of the provincial theater company.
Of all the artists that were at the place, what caught my attention the most were two living sculptures that accompanied the theater company, this post is dedicated to these two or three figures.
I started making some images of these picturesque sculptures with my 35 mm lens, however, I quickly switched to a 70-300 mm lens, as I like to portray details.
The photos that you will see below are focused on the details of the typical wardrobe, you will see how their shoes, hats, masks were made, in short, you will be able to see a part of the Cuban culture.

Esta semana comenzó una gran fiesta cultural en la provincia de Ciego de Ávila en Cuba, un aniversario más de la cultura avileña se conmemora y para celebrarlo se han realizado varias actividades durante el día y la noche.
Hoy les traigo algunas imágenes durante el acto de apertura celebrado en el Boulevard, donde artistas y pobladores disfrutamos del canto y el baile de algunos niños, también tuvimos la oportunidad de ver algunos integrantes de la compañía de teatro provincial.
De todos los artistas que se encontraban en el lugar, lo que más me llamo la atención fueron dos esculturas vivientes que acompañaba a la compañía de teatro, a estas dos o tres figuras va dedicado este post.
Comencé realizando algunas imágenes de estas pintorescas esculturas con mi lente de 35 mm, sin embargo, rápidamente cambié para un lente de 70-300 mm, pues me gusta retratar detalles.
Las fotos que verán a continuación están centradas en los detalles del típico vestuario, verán como estaban confeccionados sus zapatos, gorros, máscaras, en fin, podrán ver una parte de la cultura cubana.
