If I remember correctly, during my early days here on the Hive blockchain I introduced you to Shoshana Bean. She strikes me as a colossal singer who, nevertheless, tends to go largely unnoticed. What I always highlight about Sho is her naturalness, her expressiveness, her stage presence, and her exceptional technical quality as a vocalist. She masters all registers, so she is capable of delivering equally in an acoustic, subdued version of a track and in a more "open" full-theater version, as she teaches us, for example, in these versions —1 and 2— of "Remember the Day". Simply impeccable. I am always on the hunt for what's new from Sho, and I came across an incredible performance with the always extraordinary Pink. This is another level.

A few years ago I connected with the magical music of Jon Batiste. This versatile American artist is one of those whose popularity and many awards are based on real, authentic talent. Of his albums, I still identify very much with Hollywood Africans, and particularly with his rendition of the iconic "Saint James Infirmary Blues", for all the connection it entails with the history of Black culture in the United States. This live version I like much more than the studio version, which for me is always a sign that I am in the presence of a star. He has it all. The magnetism of Batiste's voice, his virtuosity on the piano, and a song blessed by heroes of all time such as Louis Armstrong.
