Sometimes a short walk is enough to feel happy.
I spent a few days in the city, and when I returned, I realized that a date with autumn should not be missed.
There was still plenty of time, but I couldn't go outside the yard because the cats wouldn't let me go. They missed me.
My plan was grand, to climb in the forest and look for mushrooms, so I had to hurry. One of the cats followed me, but I managed to scare him away. They feel lost in the forest.
And although I have been here many times, autumn never repeats itself. And it is human nature to forget colors, smells, sounds... And then to remember anew and enjoy the beauty of nature.
There are quite a few abandoned buildings on my street. Every time I pass by, I think will it fall apart or not? But in recent years, people have been visiting here
They mow the grass and cut the trees and clear the thickets. And this is very gratifying. Because I don't like it when houses die. First there was covid, then the war began. People are changing their attitude towards megacities and remote places. Sometimes a remote village can be safer than a high-rise.
My street smoothly passes into the forest. And here are such colors! Each tree is decorated with the magic of nature. It had rained a few days ago, so the air smelled of wet fallen leaves. But at the same time, it has already dried on top and you can rustle with pleasure, listening to the strange music of autumn...
But I only moved along the edge of the forest. I greeted my beloved beeches from afar. To immerse yourself in the forest, you should climb steeply up. And looking for mushrooms at dusk is a quest in general.
We recently changed our clocks to winter time. Now at 17.00 it is getting dark. So, you should wake up earlier... I can't get used to it.
I think the sun was just setting as I walked home across the field.
Heavy clouds added sadness to the landscape.
But despite my gloomy photos, the day was incredibly warm. 20掳 at the end of October is very rare!
I completed my little circle by returning home on the other side. I love this route as I often walk at dusk. The evening comes faster in the forest than in the field. In this way I seem to escape from the darkness.
I rested from the city. But to be honest, I want more. Autumn is calling.
