Last night, while scrolling through TikTok and enjoying a cup of coffee in the small hut in front of my house, I stumbled upon a song that was trending there. It felt as if I had discovered a magic pill one that breathed new life into my weary spirit. The lyrics went something like this:

"Flowers will bloom, even when the dry season strikes."

For some reason, that simple line resonated deeply. Something stirred within me a dormant part of my soul began to slowly awaken. I listened to it over and over, not just because the melody was pleasant, but because the meaning behind the lyrics felt like it was speaking directly to me.

Perhaps it鈥檚 true: sometimes, we don鈥檛 need long-winded advice to reignite our spirit. We only need a single, simple sentence that arrives at the perfect moment a sentence that reminds us that life isn鈥檛 defined solely by loss, failure, sorrow, or an endless, seemingly bottomless struggle. There is still hope, there are still opportunities, and there is a life that is truly worth fighting for.

Looking back, the journey from late 2025 through 2026 has been far from easy. As I鈥檝e shared with you all, I鈥檝e faced many challenges鈥攃ircumstances that forced me to endure. There were even moments when I truly didn鈥檛 know how to keep moving forward, with my mind so overwhelmed and my heart so exhausted.

I reached a point where any sense of motivation felt increasingly distant. My days continued as usual, yet something within me had fundamentally changed. I kept up with my daily routines, tried to smile, and did my best to appear fine even though no one else truly knew what was unfolding inside my mind.

There were days when I felt left far behind watching others move forward, achieve their goals, and enjoy their lives while I was still busy gathering the scattered pieces of myself. Questions kept surfacing in my mind:

Why does everything feel so difficult?

How long will this last?

Will I ever be able to emerge from this challenging time?

Yet, as I鈥檝e journeyed further and begun to better understand life, I鈥檝e come to realize that no one鈥檚 situation is permanently good or permanently bad. Everyone experiences both sorrow and joy. I鈥檝e begun to reshape my perspective: I cannot remain trapped forever within a box of regret, sadness, or suffering. I must break free from that confinement and move toward a better, happier life.

Now I must learn not to be too hard on myself, for I have perhaps too often demanded that I succeed immediately, recover instantly, prove something right away, and become someone far better than I once was. Yet, I am only human; I can grow tired, feel disappointed, lose my way, and, at times, I simply need to pause.

I once viewed pausing as a sign of weakness, but I have come to understand that resting does not mean giving up. There are moments when one needs to take a deep breath before continuing the journey; there are times when we must accept that not everything can be resolved today; and there are moments when we must make peace with our circumstances, even if our hearts have not yet fully come to terms with them.

Today, I have decided to stop competing with anyone. I simply want to become a better version of myself than I was yesterday. I desire a calmer life, a clearer mind, a more open heart, and a future built upon unceasing effort and prayer.

If one day, I succeed in reaching the life I have always dreamed of, I want to look back on these difficult times with gratitude for having made it through. Yet, I never want to return to the poor decisions, the wrong environments, the flawed mindsets, or the other mistakes鈥攕ome of which I may not have even realized I was making鈥攖hat once held me back. I want to bid farewell to the suffering that weighed upon me so mercilessly. One day, I hope to appreciate how far I have come; I want to smile, remembering a version of myself who nearly lost all spirit, yet still found the courage to rise and continue the journey toward a happy life.

And if, today, there are still things I have yet to attain鈥攖hat is perfectly fine. I do not need to have everything right now; I only need to ensure that I keep moving forward, slowly building my dreams.

To myself: thank you so much for holding on this far. Thank you for rekindling your spirit, even when you felt exhausted time and again鈥攜ou still chose to keep going. I apologize for having pushed you too hard, for being overly harsh in judging your failures, and for so rarely acknowledging the small victories we have achieved together.

Starting today, let us rise and weave our hopes, one step at a time. There is no need to prove anything to anyone. Let time take its course, let the process foster maturity, and let every effort become a meaningful part of the journey toward a better life.

I believe that a dry season cannot last forever; eventually, the rain will fall, the earth will grow moist once more, and life will find its way to flourish again.

My dear self, let us draw inspiration from a piece of wisdom to ignite our spirit:

"A flower does not have to wait for the perfect season to show that it still holds the hope to bloom and so it is with our own lives."

Let us strive together for the life we have long dreamed of; may the universe embrace me with love.

May 2027 mark a new chapter in my life a time when I no longer dwell so often on the hardships of the past, but instead begin to fill my days with stories of happiness, success, tranquility, and dreams that have finally become reality.

My dear self, it is true that we have not yet reached our destination, but we have made the firm decision not to give up along the way. I truly hope we never waver from this choice. There is no one else who cares for us quite like the person we see in the mirror. I hope you understand, O life鈥擨, too, deserve to live happily, successfully, and prosperously.

My soul, this time I am truly committed to striving for a better life; please support me fully. I long to see all this suffering transform into profound and extraordinary happiness 鉂わ笍馃尮馃尮馃尰馃憫
