Hello Hivers and in particular coffee lovers!
I recently found out about the community and immediately joined it as a coffee lover. In my first post here I want to introduce you the great Italian coffee.
I love coffee and I really can't live without it. On my first trip to Italy, I could not miss to try their coffee, known all over the world. On our first morning there we went to a local cafe.
We didn't want modern and commercial coffees. We wanted to touch the tiny cafes typical of Italians and really feel the spirit of their life and the pleasure that coffee brings.
We came across a small street cafe in Milan, not far from the center. It just attracted us and we decided to sit there. I don't even remember its name, it was small but cozy.
As soon as we entered, we felt the typical Italian morning. Most of them drank their coffee quickly and on foot and went on errands. Only some of the retirees were sitting and talking.
However, we as Bulgarians decided to sit down and really enjoy. Of course we got an espresso, and my friend, who doesn't like strong coffee, got a cappuccino.
There were also amazing snacks that we couldn't resist. I tried a croissant stuffed with orange and tangerine. Hmm what a croissant only. I ate a lot in different places, with different fillings, but this one was really amazing. The filling was great and really memorable. The Italians can do it! The rest of the company ordered croissants with vanilla cream, which were also terribly delicious!
And for the coffee ... what can I tell you. Really the best coffee I've ever tasted. Even the small cafe by the street offers such delicious and rich coffee. I'm not surprised that Italians drink it in one gulp. Well, I must add that it is really very strong and is not for people who generally drink less coffee. But I love it very much and I enjoyed it completely.
We liked it so much that the next morning we were in the same place at the same time. This time we tried a traditional breakfast with chocolate, which was again without surprises unique. Not too sweet, but also very filling. And it went great with coffee. Needless to say, it was the classic espresso again.
I can drink it every day, I am in love with it!
Anyone who loves coffee and has tried Italian understands me very well. And those who are not. I sincerely wish you to do it!
