Today I will take you to Plovdiv, one of the most beautiful cities. And in a special place - Dzhumaya coffee.
The cafe is located right next to the Dzhumaya Mosque, which is very beautiful and emblematic of the city of Plovdiv. It carries part of the history of the city and people of all religions gather around it. And if you are around you should not miss to try the amazing coffee.
The coffee is small but very cozy. The interior is in typical Turkish style and is very interesting for people from other cultures. If you are not a smoker, it is a great idea to sit inside. The details and colors are really amazing and eye-catching. Definitely a very colorful nation with a traditional approach, unique to them.
Now back to coffee. Honestly, I am amazed by people who do not like Turkish coffee. But for true lovers, this is a great experience. Made in a pot on sand, Turkish coffee has a unique taste. In addition, it is boiled three times before serving, which adds density and saturation to the taste. This is certainly one of the strongest coffees and will really give you a lot of energy. I love when I have the opportunity to sit down and drink one.

I like to drink it without sugar to enjoy the taste to the maximum. But it is served with a glass of rose water, whose light sweetness combines great with coffee.
And now let me say a few words about desserts. In fact, I don't know where to start. They are not inferior to coffee. Anyone who has ever visited Turkey knows what variety and taste I am talking about.
Different types of traditional baklava, kadaif, tolumbichki, flints. You may stand for hours in front of a shop window and not be able to choose.
This time I focused on a traditional mukleme. It is a syrupy sponge cake with orange peel covered with a layer of chocolate.
The syrupy loaf with chocolate makes a great combination, and the orange gives a slight bitterness and texture. A unique dessert that I would be happy to repeat.
