Alphabet Hunt: Six things that begin with E

One more week, we continue participating in the Alphabet Hunt from Bangla Hive. This time, it is the turn of the letter E, and to find my six words, I have searched among everyday objects, family memories, and things related to my personal and professional life.

These are my choices for this occasion.

1.Elephant

This little Elephant plush toy has a very special destination: it will be my niece's birthday present, as she is about to turn one year old.

It is a very cute stuffed animal, and it has a feature I love: when you move it, it makes a sound. I think this little detail will make it even more fun for her because, at that age, everything is an opportunity to discover something new.

Sometimes, choosing a gift for little ones makes us think about the excitement they may feel when they receive it. And although she is still very young, I hope this little elephant becomes one of those toys that accompanies her during her early years.

2.Earrings

These Earrings are part of my aunt's earring collection, and they are my favorites out of all the ones she has.

I have always found it interesting how such a small accessory can catch our attention so much. It is not necessarily about being the most expensive or the most elegant one, but about having something special that makes us choose it among many others.

In this case, these earrings caught my attention, and that is why I wanted to include them in my collection of words for this letter.

3.Eraser

An Eraser is one of those things that always goes with me everywhere. It may seem like an insignificant object, but to me, it has a meaning that goes beyond its practical function.

I like to think of it as a small symbol that there is always a possibility of correcting the things we get wrong. In life, we make mistakes, make decisions we would later change, and sometimes wish we could start over.

We cannot always erase what has happened, but we can learn from our mistakes, correct what is within our power, and move forward with more experience.

4.Egg

Eggs are one of those foods that cannot be missing from my home. Besides being nutritious, they are very practical and allow us to prepare a wide variety of meals without having to spend too much time in the kitchen.

They can save us when we need to prepare something quickly, become part of a more elaborate meal, or serve as one of the main ingredients in a dessert.

I like those foods that offer us so many possibilities and that, with something as simple as eggs, allow us to prepare anything from breakfast to a sweet recipe.

5.Eyeglasses

Eyeglasses are something I do not need to wear, but they are part of the daily lives of many people around me.

Recently, my sister-in-law was diagnosed with significant vision loss in one of her eyes, which had been operated on when she was a child. Because of this situation, she now needs to wear glasses to go about her daily life normally.

This situation has made me think about how important our vision is and how something we often take for granted can change the way we live when difficulties arise.

Sometimes, we are not fully aware of how valuable our senses are until someone close to us has to face a situation like this.

6.Engineering Drawing

As an engineer, one of the greatest satisfactions in my work is seeing an Engineering Drawing completed.

Behind every drawing, there is time, calculations, decisions, and many hours of dedication. For those who do not work in this field, it may seem like simply a collection of lines, numbers, and notes, but we know that it represents much more.

It is the starting point for an idea to become a real construction. And thinking that the buildings of the future will be built based on those drawings is one of the things that motivates me most in my profession.

For me, finishing a drawing does not simply mean completing a task. It also means knowing that I have contributed, through my work, to making something possible that previously existed only on paper.

These are my six words for the letter E. Each one represents something different: the excitement of a gift for my niece, my family's tastes, a little reflection on mistakes, everyday life, a personal experience that has made me reflect, and the satisfaction of my work as an engineer.

Now I invite edward777@edward777 to continue with this Alphabet Hunt and share their six words for the letter E.

And what about you? What six words would you choose for this letter?
