There has been no announcement post this week for the Letter E Alphabet Hunt Challenge in the Bangla Hive Community Hive-127742
Until we hear more, I'm continuing to hunt photos for the challenge.
I can't resist hunting and I suspect I'm not the only one who has a letter E post ready to be published.
Remember to join the Community!
The challenge is to find photos of 6 things all showing something that begins with the letter E. .
You can read the rules for the last contest and join the community HERE
Let's go hunting letter E photos!
EAR
I took this photo at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
This sculpture is titled Beethoven's Trumpet (With Ear) (2007) by the American Conceptual artist John Baldessari (1931–2020).
Inspired by Ludwig van Beethoven’s late-life deafness and the oversized brass ear trumpets he used to assist his failing hearing. Baldessari designed the piece to play on the visual and sensory paradox of sound, voice, and deafness.
The piece is embedded with audio electronics. When a viewer speaks or makes a sound into the bell of the bronze trumpet, the sculpture responds by playing a short, random phrase from one of Beethoven's late string quartets through the horn.
ELEPHANT
Nearby Delavan, Wisconsin, holds a legendary place in American circus history, earning the nickname "The 19th Century Circus Capital of the Nation." Between 1847 and 1894, Delavan served as the winter quarters and home base for 26 different circus companies.
ENVELOPE
This envelope is pasted into an old scrapbook that belonged to my grandmother. It holds a couple of cards she sent to my grandfather
ENGINE
This is the rebuilt engine for the 1971 Volkswagen that my son-in-law restored.
EGGS
Ready for breakfast... With some great shadows!
EGRET
Egrets are wading birds belonging to the heron family (Ardeidae).
They are found on almost every continent except Antarctica.
