When I joined Steemit, I was expecting to receive ample amount of money. While typing my posts, I am also telling myself that I should be able to get about 10$ from it. But in reality, I am only getting no more than 1$. Due to this, I thought of calling it quits because I think my efforts are put to waste.
When my friend told me that I can also earn by upvoting other's posts, I was expecting that I would earn big time upvoting. I voted almost every post in my feed until there comes a warning that my voting power is exhausted. So I stop for a few moments and try again. A week passed but I did not get any reward. So I tried another strategy. I upvoted all new posts. I thought that if I upvoted first I will get bigger rewards. Week passed but still my curation reward is 0. So I read some posts on how to earn through upvoting and hopefully it helps.
*When my friend told me that you can make a post out of anything, I was expecting that this is as easy as ABCs. Write a blog then publish, you'll earn money. But no, I published many blogs but I did not get money. So, I came to the realization that everything cannot be done overnight. You have to practice and ask help from others.
