Hello Friends, and thank you for your visit!

It is #wednesdaywalk #42 of 2026, and for this week I took a trip over to the "Suter Wildlife Refuge". Not a lot going on over there I am afraid. The big news is they paved the paths - which is questionable as I did notice the heat radiating off the asphalt!
But first I want to thank @tattoodjay for this community - #wednesdaywalk ,
"Thank You"!

So this week I had the idea to go over to the Suter Wildlife Refuge (I wanted to try and stay away from water photos) and see if anything had changed since I had been here last - and it has! They have paved all the dirt paths. As I mentioned above the asphalt radiats a lot of heat, so I don't know if this is serving those walking the trails!
This is from the parking lot and as you can see right is towards the water and left heads out into the Park area,
Walking along I did notice this sign (there was several) that shows the Birds of the refuge,
(unfortunately none of them there today...)
This is an old favorite spot of mine here. I'm glad it's still intact as my other favorite spot here has been "remodeled",
This path heads out towards the road and back into the brush area,
And this one goes back to the parking area and then the water,
To the right is the Native American Medicine Wheel, which is also a monument to some bones and artifacts found here,
And this path heads back to the parking lot, and you can see in the background another children's play area,
Well, I guess the plus is all the new paved paths - keeps everything neat and tidy, some will appreciate that. I personally liked the original paths here, but I totally understand I am not the only person here.
That was my #wednesdaywalk this week,
I want to thank you again for your visit - "Stay Blessed, Safe, and Happy"!
