I will build on you,
the home I have longed for,
I have traveled many lands,
high mountain ranges,
jungles as thick as your hair,
I have crossed oceans looking for you,
I will build the foundation in you,
I have come between sweats and chills,
with pain in my feet,
with skin embraced by salt and light,
to this distant land that is you,
I will carve your skin with my caresses,
and I will glue the bricks with kisses,
There will no longer be lack but abundance,
I will sow blessed fruits in your feelings,
I will milk your love,
and I will reap your firstfruits,
You are the foundation where I will build my happiness,
until my last breath.

Voy a construir en ti,
el hogar que he anhelado,
he recorrido muchas tierras,
altas serranías,
selvas tan espesas como tú pelo,
he atravesado océanos buscandote,
en ti edificaré los cimientos,
he venido entre sudores y escalofríos,
con dolor en mis pies,
con la piel abrazada de sal y de luz,
a esta tierra lejana que eres tú,
tallaré en tu piel con mis caricias,
y pegaré los ladrillos con besos,
ya no habrá carencias sino abundancia,
sembraré en tu sentir frutos benditos,
ordeñaré tu cariño,
y cosecharé tus primicias,
eres la fundación donde edificaré mi felicidad,
hasta mi último aliento.
