Bet | Apuesta. Poema [Eng/Esp]

I have a bet made with destiny,
and threw the dice with faith,
to see my luck with you,
I don't think you'll look for me again,
I will not have the privilege of your call,
I'm almost certain,
although the cards are cast,
We are two forgers who found each other,
and as happens with all liars,
those of us who are insincere
we walk away for no apparent reason,
simply because we get tired of pretending,
I confess that I am counting the minutes,
according to my poor logic,
You shouldn't look for me
or call me,
because you were the one who sent me for a walk,
You told me to start walking,
you didn't give me explanations,
but I understood as I had never done before,
that the novelty is over,
I didn't meet your expectations,
and I was not interested in fulfilling them,
much less with an unstable person,
with which you don't know what to expect,
with whom I have already had two and a half disappointments,
and being really honest,
I don't want to reach a third party.

Tengo una apuesta hecha con el destino,
he lanzado los dados con fe,
para ver mi suerte contigo,
no creo que me vuelvas a buscar,
no contaré con el privilegio de tu llamada,
estoy casi seguro,
aunque las cartas están echadas,
somos dos falsarios que se encontraron,
y como pasa con todos los mentirosos,
los que somos faltos de sinceridad
nos alejamos sin razón aparente,
simplemente porque nos cansamos de fingir,
te confieso que estoy contando los minutos,
según mi escasa lógica,
no deberías buscarme,
o llamarme,
porque tú fuiste la que me envió a paseo,
me dijiste que arrancara a caminar,
no me diste explicaciones,
mas entendí como nunca lo había hecho,
que se acabó la novedad,
no cumplí tus espectativas,
y no me interesaba cumplirlas,
mucho menos con una persona inestable,
con la que no sabes a qué atenerte,
con la que ya he tenido dos chascos y medio,
y siendo de verdad honesto,
no quiero llegar a un tercero.
