Splinterlands Art Contest | Bramble Pixie

Greetings friends! Hope you all have been doing okay, welcome to another blog. It rained a lot today, the weather is so cold and I kinda like it. I started this painting yesterday and I enjoyed every bit of it, this is my entry for the splinterlands art contest.

¡Saludos amigos! Espero que todos hayan estado bien, bienvenidos a otro blog. Hoy ha llovido mucho, hace mucho frio y me gusta. Empecé esta pintura ayer y disfruté cada pedacito de ella, esta es mi entrada para el concurso de arte splinterlands.

This creature is so mischevious and violent, they spend most of their time tormenting and laying traps for others. She's Bramble Pixie. I didn't know what card to recreate for this week so I went for a scrolling spree searching for something I might like then suddenly, my eyes caught her wings and immediately and I decided to paint her.

Esta criatura es tan traviesa y violenta que pasa la mayor parte del tiempo atormentando y tendiendo trampas a los demás. Es Bramble Pixie. No sabía qué tarjeta recrear para esta semana, así que me puse a hacer scroll buscando algo que me pudiera gustar y, de repente, mis ojos captaron sus alas e inmediatamente decidí pintarla.

Proceso

The sketch phase was quite easy and straightforward, I've had a very cool outfit idea and it really looked good on her. I started with her skin, I'm still loving this skin tone(just like chocolate). I knew white hair would look amazing on her so I painted all the base colours for hair,skin and clothes. Painting her facial features was quite easy except for he mouth, I faced little challenges with it at first but I figured it out in no time and moved on to other parts.

La fase de boceto fue bastante fácil y sencilla, tenía una idea muy chula para el traje y le quedaba muy bien. Empecé con su piel, me sigue encantando este tono (como el chocolate). Sabía que el pelo blanco le quedaría genial así que pinté todos los colores base para el pelo, la piel y la ropa. Pintar sus rasgos faciales fue bastante fácil excepto la boca, al principio me costó un poco, pero lo resolví enseguida y pasé a otras partes.

Her dark skin looked more beautiful after painting the lighter and darker highlights, now I had to figure out where to place the green. I first covered her up in green, then I erased other parts leaving only what I thought was good enough. I then painted the leaf on her head, added more hair strands and details, painting the hair was quite interesting because I've never done this hairstyle. I painted her earrings wings, adding more details was quite easy because they were mostly flowers and transparent lines. I painted her clothes, I really love the clothe wrapped around her neck, it's so stylish, I created a new layer and added more glow to other parts of her, I really enjoy doing this because it makes the whole art shine. Oops, I forgot about the ladybug 🐞 and the bubbles 🫧 Finally I chose a simple dark background and that was it!!!!

Su piel oscura se veía más bonita después de añadir los reflejos claros y oscuros, ahora tenía que averiguar dónde colocar el verde. Primero la cubrí de verde, luego borré otras partes dejando sólo lo que me parecía suficientemente bueno. Después pinté la hoja de su cabeza, añadí más mechones de pelo y detalles, pintar el pelo fue bastante interesante porque nunca había hecho este peinado. Pinté las alas de sus pendientes, añadir más detalles fue bastante fácil porque en su mayoría eran flores y líneas transparentes. Pinté sus ropas, me encanta la tela que envuelve su cuello, es tan elegante, creé una nueva capa y añadí más brillo a otras partes de ella, realmente disfruto haciendo esto porque hace que todo el arte brille. ¡¡¡¡Oops, me olvidé de la mariquita 🐞 y las burbujas 🫧 Finalmente elegí un simple fondo oscuro y eso fue todo!!!!
