Hello everyone, Hope you're all doing alright. I haven't shared any fanart in about two weeks and I miss it terribly. I made a new one for the holozing game. A female light healer whose essence radiates warmth and healing to all who seek her embrace.

This is the original character which is so different from what I came up with in both colours and composition.

PROCESS

I did the sketch and went straight to adding base colours everywhere. I worked with more warm/earthy colours - so many brown shades, I guess I just wanted to create something that looks really soft and calming to the eyes, nothing crazy. I painted her facial features and flat colours for jewelry and belt.

I didn't really struggle with any part of this painting but it took while mostly because I am still getting used to using the new brushes I got.

The eyes are windows to the soul. I wanted them simpe but with depth of compassion that emanates from her being.

With shades of blue, I let them sparkle with the light of inner peace, reflecting the countless galaxies that swirl within her spirit. Rendering started with her skin, I blended some parts using the smudge tool which is an interesting tool, I used to avoid it but I have a brush that works well with it now so I guess I'll use it more.

Initially her breats were so huge and I dislike that馃槕 I had to fix it by working more on her dress and areas around it.
I really love how her dress turned out, I looked forward to painting her belt and other accessories which looks great with all the textures and details. I painted more details on her hair piece and necklace and I so love the colours and I'm definitely keeping this palette.

Finally I did the background which was just simple and added some sparkles on it. Going crazy with the glow would mess it up so I just added a little and made little adjustments..
