Hello all, today I tried to recreate a drawing from a reference.
I always find this exercise interesting because an image can look simple when I'm looking at it, but the moment you try to draw it yourself, you start noticing all the little things you completely missed.
The goal isn't to make a perfect copy. It's just to see if I could understand the drawing better by actually recreating it.
As usual, there were parts that went smoothly and parts that made me stop and stare at my paper for a while, like the head shape and eyes.
But that’s the whole point of practicing.
It teaches me something different, even when the final drawing isn’t exactly what I imagined.
