watch me swim
in my flaws.

you watch with interest,
how i
struggle off its claws.
that's how i feel when
the only weapon i have,
is an inaudible voice
in my head,
calmly urging me
to face the monster,
with bruised arms
and a ruptured flesh for legs.
that's how i feel,
when you
hand me an armour
that weighs heavier
than my strength.
that's how i feel
when
the only help that comes
is a book with words all over;
and like
gazing at
the paintings of a child,
i'm clueless.
