Hello! How are you? I am going to join this week's ASEAN Hive Challenge, "Photography: Into The Blue," so I am thinking about how I am going to apply this challenge to what I do. So, I decided to "what if I share all the mediums, I have that is blue" so yeah as an artist with a lot of things wanted to try that is a good idea I guess? LOL. As I editing my blog, I saw that my cutting mat is blue too.
Blue, Blue, Blue!
The first medium that has shades of blue is the soft pastel. I mainly use this for my polymer clay arts to shade them. It gives a realistic and soft texture. So yeah, this is my first time using it for drawing purposes.s I drew a blueberry.
Next, I will use colored pencils with all the shades of blue I can find. Tried to draw a flower using it. Did you know that you can use it like as soft as prisma color just dip it on water for 5 second the tip of it will soften, because faber color pencil is kind have hard tip so I rarely use this.
Next is my very first decent watercolor paints. I found only four shades of blue, blue lake is the one I like. So, I tried to paint a flower using them.
Next is my collection of the brushes I invested that is miraculously blue LOL. I used this to paint watercolors.
One of my favorite mediums is the oil pastel. These are all the collection of pastels I have. I drew a flower using it, too.
Next is the medium that my artist uncle gave me, because he ask me what medium I wanted to try but can't afford to buy is the oil paints that he had used before and gave it to me.
Next, I rarely use acrylic paints. I just use them when I need to paint things like tote bags or design the sketchbook I made.
Next are these clay pins and keychains that I made with shades of blue. This one is my favorite: the merch of 2ne1 that I handmade.
Thank you for visiting. See you on my next blog. :D
