Hello, how are you? It is a surprise and not a surprise that I got cold in the middle of the summer season, which makes me laugh sometimes it's so unbelievable sometimes, and what irritates me so much is that when I am going to lie down on my bed. Both of my nose blocked, and mind you, even at night, my room is hot no matter what I do, so I don't have a choice but to turn it off for me to sleep.

Everything I planned to do over the past few days was delayed because of my cold. Maybe I can encourage myself to draw again, so today I am going to show you what I drew last year, all of our cats that I didn't have time to share with you, because of how messy my files are LOL. So I need to use the acrylic marker I bought last year, because if not, it will dry out and I can never use it again. Some of them dried out already.

Materials I Used:

  • Mini Sketchbook
  • Eraser
  • Mechanical Pencil
  • White Pen
  • Acrylic Marker

Time To Draw!

I am going to use my mini sketchbook I made and start by drawing the line art using a mechanical pencil.

Then I start with outlining the subject by using this gold-colored acrylic marker.

Layer it with a darker marker.

And layering the inside of the subject by using lighter yellow, this serves as an under tone of the subject.

Some of the colors are not opaque enough to fix that, so I sometimes add color that complements the subject, and I call it an accent color.

Then I added color to the ears. I like to use two colors.

Time to add the dark outline.

Then I added the accent color on it, and then I like to add random background color to make the drawing more dimensional.

The white in the marker is not opaque enough to add a highlight, so I am going to use a white gel pen.

This is what it looks like done.

I have a lot of drawings of my cats, just like I did now, and, sadly, I didn't document most of them because I got caught in the moment I enjoy so much LOL.

Thank you for visiting, see you on my next blog. :D
Please take care of your mental health as well.
I hope you are okay today :))
