The plants in my patio @lcampesina

Hello dear friends, I'm @lcampesina. It's a pleasure to have found this @hivegarden community where I can share my experiences and my natural lifestyle.

This time I started my tour in the backyard of where I currently live with my partner and my son. I went to check on the moringa plants we planted a month and a half ago with the intention of harvesting the leaves to make tea and take advantage of their vitamins. I'm also doing some tests making leaf manure and adding it to the watering of the other plants, as I've seen that it gives me better results.

and also giving it to the rooster mixed with his food, for example... We grind corn, banana peel scraps, and sometimes even the game box to give a little calcium to both the plants and the birds. Sometimes cats also come when they smell the cornmeal and lard.

As lunchtime approached, I decided to pick some cilantro leaves. Their aroma is unmistakable and they add a wonderful flavor to stews.

And since they were nearby, I went to check on the cucumbers we planted a month ago. They're already producing their first harvests, growing little by little. We have to check them for pests. Sometimes I've had to use neem oil, soaked in water for three days, which is effective at stopping the little worms from eating the leaves. It doesn't harm the beneficial insects that pollinate the plants. Oregano is also great for seasoning and flavoring food; it's very tasty. Really

Next, I went to check on the cacao tree growing next to the taro or broad-leafed tuber plants, as you can see in the collage.

And of course, it was a surprise even to me when I looked among the bushes and found tender bell peppers hidden there to enhance my seasoning. How wonderful!

I'm very happy to be able to share with you this Coturra coffee plant, which thrives in both shade and sun and doesn't grow very tall. Next to it, you can see some beautiful turmeric plants.

I'm also very eager for the tapiramo or pinto bean harvest to begin, as it's soft, creamy, and very tasty. I've harvested up to 3 kg from one plant in its entire season.

It's always good to have some medicinal plants on hand for holidays and kidney health, like aloe vera and oregano.
