I collected health crystals, cleared remaining Hiss entities, and faced a regenerating floating enemy. After defeating it and hurling its body, I searched Darling's mobile lab, watched his video recording about the slide projector, and saved my game near the turntable.
Once I felt ready, I stepped back outside to take care of the rest of the enemies scattered around the area.
I kept reminding myself not to forget about those floating Hiss clusters drifting nearby.
Then I ran into a particularly tough entity that was actively regenerating its health on its own. I knew I had to be extremely careful while dealing with it and avoid getting hit for too long.
I noticed another Hiss entity sitting on a chair that was also regenerating its health.
I focused my fire and shot it down really fast before it could recover, and it managed to dodge my bullets pretty well before I finally got it.
With that one gone, there was only one Hiss entity left floating around the room. This last one was extremely dangerous because it could fly, regenerate its own health, and attack me with heavy projectiles.
I had to pull back and step outside for a quick moment to regenerate some of my own health since I was running low, all while it was still checking around trying to track me down.
Once I recovered a bit, I stepped back out into the open and started attacking it directly.
It was the only real threat left in the room, so I gave it everything I had.
I noticed it couldn't dodge all of my thrown projectiles, so I kept pushing because I knew I could eventually take it down with enough effort.
Luckily, it stopped regenerating its health after a while, which made the fight much more manageable.
At last, the damn thing died, and I even pulled his body toward me using my telekinesis.
Now he was just another projectile I could hurl around whenever I wanted. I looked closely at his face, and he honestly looked like a total zombie. I decided to just launch him straight out into outer space for fun.
With the room clear, my next goal was to search Darling's lab for the slide projector. I made my way inside his mobile lab, hoping I would find whatever I needed in there.
I spotted a terminal inside and interacted with the computer to see what files were stored on it.
After interacting with it, I found a video recording of Dr. Darling to watch.
In the video, the researcher had a deeply agonized look on his face as he talked about setting up a new dimensional research sector to focus entirely on the slide projector.
He looked absolutely terrified in the recording, which showed just how important and dangerous that slide projector really was.
After the video ended, the mission wrapped up, and I got a fresh directive to track down the slide projector in Dimensional Research.
I made my way back to the turntable area, where that spike was still floating and guarding the path.
That was the exact spot where I died last time without even realizing where I was.
I completely ignored the spike this time by floating directly above it and heading straight toward the turntable.
Finally, I reached Transit Corridor South and saved my progress at the point.
