I tell you that I am a fan of Chinese food, and last night for dinner, I craved this, specifically the well-known spring rolls, which in my country are known as "Lumpias". I wanted to eat those delicious, crispy vegetable-stuffed wraps; However, with the confinement measures, I do not have the opportunity to leave my house in the afternoon, for this reason, I looked for some old Chinese food recipes that my sister gave me a few years ago, and I began to look in my refrigerator for materials to prepare my first lumpias.
Today I will make this recipe adapting to the ingredients I have at home, to make my first lumpias I will use:
For the filling:
-1 carrot cut into julienne strips.
-1 finely chopped onion.
- 1 cup of cabbage finely chopped.
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce.
- Ham cut into cubes.
-4 tablespoons of oil.
-Salt and pepper.
For the dough:
-2 cups of wheat flour.
-2 cups of water.
-3 tablespoons of oil.
- 1 small teaspoon of salt.
Preparation of the dough:
First I put the wheat flour, the oil, the water and the salt in a bowl, and the integrity of all the ingredients until obtaining a light mixture, similar to the crepe dough.
Then, I heated my nonstick skillet and added a mixture to make my first pancake for the lumpia wrap (this should cook until dry).
Preparation of the filling:
In a frying pan, I put the oil and added the onion, then the carrot, the chopped ham, and finally the chopped cabbage, fry for about 5 minutes, add the soy sauce, salt and pepper to taste.
Assembling and frying the lumpias:
The first thing I did was put the crepe on a plate, then at one end I put a portion of the filling, after I folded the inside of them, so that the vegetables did not come out, gradually rolled up to close On the roll , I finally wet my finger with water, and lightly moistened the dough and pressed so that the lumpias were firm.
Once the roll formed, I placed a skillet over medium heat with enough oil and fried the lumpiass until it turned a beautiful golden color.
Friends !! To be my first lumpias, they were quite good, very delicious and crispy, I already killed my craving and most importantly, I learned to make a new recipe ...
I hope you like my post and I hope you make this recipe.
