Ah, I see what you mean now... hm that would be risky because you would have to fish out the memo from the transaction records and it's not guaranteed that they would react to that properly...

blocktrades is among the accounts that has been wiped, it's not safe there...

This sounds like a huge karma moment. Assuming that Bittrex helps to get the stolen funds back, this basically means that the people on the list can actually skip the power down time, right? Because unlike

I know about that. We cannot solve that on Steem or Hive by design. Remember it's a Proof of Stake coin at heart.

That is actually exactly the point of the DPoS system. I am thinking about a system that doesn't work that way, but Hive would literally not work without this, and honestly there is no superwhale anymore

That's not what decentralization means. Also this is a MUCH MUCH better division than the biggest shitcoin in circulation known as USD, and afaik better than e.g. BTC.

yeah, I missed your post too :(

Of course I live in Europe so I am biased that way, but I do definitely trust the Euro more than USD. I consider the USD to be a shitcoin I don't invest in long term.

Agree, and that is exactly why now slowly but surely BCH took over the utility spot of Bitcoin, and will probably grow in that position the upcoming time. I think a part of the utility that we might want

Hey, what do you think about the post?

You are right, this element wasn't in the terms of service before, this is the part they added. The fuss about it has appeared on chain but I can imagine you didn't see that. When you look up that page

He added a term about not being allowed to talk about competing services. Also the censorship is being done quite carefully, e.g. waiting a day before the messages disappear. It's like a shadowban, to

I kinda agree... but we should definitely find a solution for engaging people positively when they come in with little knowledge and high hopes... a real life example of this going wrong is Nigeria.
