Agree, and that is exactly why now slowly but surely BCH took over the utility spot of Bitcoin, and will probably grow in that position the upcoming time.

I think a part of the utility that we might want to add to Hive is the option to use non-name based addresses. Being forced to use usernames and to open an account for a wallet is probably not the best way to go about it in the long run. Sure, having account names is a massive and nice thing, but I think we might want to add some form of anonymity too, and an easier way for exchanges to get rid of the add correct memo thing, probably with some checksum in it.

Long term, and that is so far away from now that most people only see the failures at this point, I think IOTA has the best papers to become a working and trusted crypto. It is one of the few cryptos that scale better than graphene chains, it's made for sub cent transactions without fees and the development model actually enables everyone to work on it independently, which is not really the case with DPoS as we see with the governance handover just before the fork. Long term DPoS will probably always suffer issues with governance, although the system is quite good and probably taking the main stage after BCH in my perspective.

But we are not there yet, we only get what we actually build and accept, so I will be very happy to be seen proven wrong!
