This is my participation in this invites you to write about " The attraction"., with a subject that has a lot of fabric to tell, yes I wrote tell, because each one cuts that fabric in his best way to tell what he thinks about “ The attraction”

What I Reject Also Teaches Me That Attraction Is a Mirror of Consciousness

There are things we don’t want near—people, ideas, memories. We say, “I don’t like this,” “I don’t want that,” and we simply push them away. But sometimes, what we reject has something to show us—not so we embrace it, but so we understand it. Because what makes us uncomfortable also reveals.

Attraction is not just desire. It’s energy that moves, that connects us or pushes us away. And in that movement, there’s also learning. If something attracts me, it speaks to what I seek. If something repels me, it speaks to what I fear. This is just my view—for me, both are mirrors.

I’ve learned that not everything I walk away from is bad. Sometimes it’s fear. Other times it’s judgment—about what something is, what I see, or what I feel. Sometimes, in my most basic form, it’s a part of me I don’t want to look at. But if I pause, if I observe calmly, I discover that rejection has a name, a story, a root. And that’s where learning begins.

Conscious attraction is choosing what strengthens me. But it’s also letting go of what drains me. And to let go, I first have to look. But I also need to hold tightly to what I truly want. It’s not about accepting everything—it’s about understanding why I reject it.

Today I want to attract what makes me stronger. I remember when my grandfather used to say, “Son, what’s meant for you, is for you.” So when the things that attract me are truly mine, they’ll simply be mine. Ha ha ha—it’s like a tongue twister, right? But I also want to learn from what makes me uncomfortable. Because if I only seek what I like, I miss half the journey. And I want to walk it whole. With light and shadow. With certainty and doubt. With love and courage.

This Tuesday, I hoped to share with all of you, but due to circumstances beyond my control, I couldn’t be there to hear you sing and share the good vibes. Still, we can look within and ask ourselves: What energy do I want to attract? What rejection is speaking to me? What story can I tell from that place? Because sometimes, every song, every word, every silence, every laugh can be a door. And our friend Angélica always opens it so we can all walk through—and if she doesn’t, I want to open it.

Attraction is power. But rejection is too. Both move us. Both teach us. And if we listen closely, we can write stories that not only inspire—but transform. Because talent also lies in facing what we avoid.

So what’s meant for you, is for you. That’s part of what you attract into your life.
