I started with the question: How can I simplify my kitchen time? Time is so precious for me and I would rather spend my hours at fulfilling work, improving our lifestyle or self-development.
That meant some radical changes.
Current concept:
intermittent fasting 16-8 = 8 hours for intense nutritions
Tim Ferris 4 hour Chef and 4 hour body books
only few, the most essentials tools and very sharp big knife
lockable steam pot for faster preparation
5 minute recipes with 2-4 ingredients ( great source is minimalistbaker.com )
using oven often for 1 minute recipes (put in potatoes and salmon , add spicies and do something else)
cooking all in meals or at least less attention requiring meals
cooking bigger amount to have two meals done (Warning! Partner has to agree to eat the same dish twice in row 😀)
