"You are a thief and a manipulative person, I should have seen that all along but I was too blinded with seeing you as a friend or perhaps a sister to me". Those were the words of someone I called a friend, I guess you are all confused of how we got here. It's fine let me take you to how it began.

My friend's name is rosemary, we were so close to each other we even attended the same primary and secondary school. We grew up together loving each other in the best way we can, she was my best friend and we shared secrets together and what made the bond between us grow fonder was because we are neighbors and it was only fence that separated us.

My parent changed my school from a boarding school where me and my friend were together to a day school at JSS3, according to them they school added their school fees and it was above their budget, even after doing that we were still closed during holidays we had best of fun together. After secondary school things got adjusted alittle bit.

We were asked to learn handwork while we waited for all those processing of waec and university stuff, I learnt tailoring while she went to a cyber cafe to learn how to operate a computer. At some point I started sewing my own clothes and doing some small small amends for my family in my madams shop because I don't have a machine of my own.

I was getting good in sewing and I was doing well while my friend was also getting good with the computer, been that I can sew well my friend said I should help her do some amends in her clothes, I gladly collected it and help her out without collecting charges(payment) because she is my friend.

As time goes on I was doing some little sewing and amends for her and she was happy, one fateful day she called me to come (that was when I came back for my lunch break from the shop) after eating I was about going back to the shop when I remembered that she wanted showing me something.

I stopped at her place entered the house and met her, she showed me one of her mother's skirt which was a poly material that she was to convert it to a fitted skirt since her mother wasn't wearing it again, mind you her mind was three times bigger than her (she is a fat woman).

She gave me two different color of that skirt but the same sewing, I collected it and put it in a leather took her measurements and went to my shop. It took me two days to finish her sewing because we had other important work to do for our madam in shop.

When I gave her she tested it and it was good she thanked me, I went back to shop used the piece of her material joined them together and sewed myself a head bangle with those different materials, after I was done everyone said it was fine.

When I got home I showed my friend and she jokingly told me that I used her material to sew it so it's her own, we were struggling for it but she succeeded and took it from me, I wasn't bothered because I thought she would give me back the head bangle, days went by and she didn't give it back.

One day I was passing through their house and I saw their gate opened I entered thinking she was inside but when I got to the palor no one was there not even her siblings or parents, I passed and went to her room and she wasn't there either so when I attempted to leave I saw my head bangle on her table, I picked the both of them and headed outside.

After that I went to were I was going to, o e Thursday I was going for bible study in my church and I saw her on the road going back home immediately she saw me she noticed something I was wearing and yes it was the bangle, she became angry and demanded to know how I got it.

I told her and she said I should return it back, I tried telling her that it wasn't hers but mine but she didn't want to hear anything, she told everyone that cared to listen that I entered her house and stole that head bangle she even continued to say that God only knows what else I have taken from her house.

When I heard it I confronted her and she publicly called me a thief and a manipulative person she insulted me and vomited all that was in her mind, been a lousy person that she is I wasn't expecting anything less but the fact that she thought I stole from her house was what pained me most, I could have expected these from anyone else but not her.

That was how she started giving me cold attitude and I just thought she needed distance so I gave it to her. Sometimes something need to happen inorder to know who you are really dealing with.

Thanks for stopping by and reading through,
I would love to see your comments dropping on what other actions I could have taken instead of doing what I did.
