If you could give a gift that has great potential to do good for this holiday season, what would it be, who would you give it to, and why?
What is your favorite thing to enjoy during the holiday season, and why?
Bien, la iniciativa consiste en responder una o todas las preguntas que se nos plantean para participar. En este caso las preguntas son:

I'm the kind of person who likes to give gifts with potential, or rather, useful things. I'm more inclined towards the practicality of an object than its mere aesthetic appeal, so I give things that the other person can actually use or enjoy.
I generally give things like handbags, shoes, and clothes, depending on the person. I also give perfumes or cosmetics like lipstick, makeup, blush, etc. At my house, we usually do a Secret Santa exchange around this time of year, so everyone has to give a final gift on December 25th.
Yo soy de las personas que les gusta regalar cosas con potencial o mejor dicho con utilidad. Me inclino mรกs por la practicidad que tenga un objeto que por la monerรญa de tenerlo, por eso regalo cosas que a la otra persona le puedan servir de provecho o que disfrute.
Generalmente regalo cosas como bolsos, zapatos, ropa, dependiendo de la persona. Tambiรฉn regalo perfumes o accesorios cosmรฉticos como lรกpiz labial, maquillaje, coloretes, etc. En mi casa, en estas fechas solemos hacer el famoso amigo secreto, por lo que cada uno tiene que entregar un regalo final el 25 de diciembre.
We do it among ourselves, with the best intentions, but to enjoy these festivities at home, especially and intimately. Another thing I like to give as a gift is the food I prepare; it's usually cakes, but I also make hallacas, so I like to bring them when I'm invited to a gathering during this time of year or when I visit a friend.
I don't like to arrive empty-handed. My mother always taught me that I should bring something for the family or person I'm visiting because otherwise it's impolite, especially during these Christmas holidays when food is one of the most important things in every Venezuelan home.
Lo hacemos entre nosotros mismos, con la mejor intenciรณn, pero para disfrutar de estas festividades dentro del hogar y de manera especial e รญntima. Otra cosa que me gusta regalar es la comida que preparo, generalmente son tortas, pero tambiรฉn hago hallacas, asรญ que me gusta llevarlas cuando me invitan a una reuniรณn en estas fechas o al ir de visita a casa de algรบn amigo.
No me gusta llegar con las manos vacรญas, mi madre siempre me enseรฑรณ que debo llegar con algo para la familia o persona que voy a visitar porque si no es de mala educaciรณn, sobre todo en estas fechas navideรฑas donde la comida es una de las cosas mรกs importantes en todo hogar venezolano.
What I enjoy most during this time of year are the 24th and the 31st, because these days are so important for spending time with family. I love sharing a meal with my loved ones after preparing a feast and having everyone sit around the same table, enjoying delicious food.
For me, having people at my table and a pleasant dinner on these two days is more important than having a bunch of presents under the tree. Sharing with the people I love most is more than enough, and seeing their happy faces as they enjoy what I prepared with so much love fills my heart.
Lo que mรกs me gusta disfrutar en estas fechas son el 24 y el 31, porque estos dรญas son muy importantes para compartir en familia. Disfruto de compartir con los mรญos luego de preparar un banquete y tener a toda mi familia sentada en la misma mesa, disfrutando de ricos alimentos.
Para mรญ es mรกs importante tener gente en mi mesa y tener una cena agradable en estas dos fechas que tener en el รกrbol un montรณn de regalos. Para mรญ, compartir con las personas que mรกs amo es mรกs que suficiente y ver sus caras felices mientras disfrutan lo que preparรฉ con tanto amor me llena el corazรณn.
