So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to end. We are currently on the third topic for this week, which is “BACK TO LIFE”.

But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “CHILD SERVICES”.

This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about their thoughts on child services and the lengths they would be willing to go in their quest to provide a better life for the well-being of the children. Many times, they come to the rescue of children in danger, and it all works out well. However, sometimes, they only end up tearing a loving family apart.

We got to hear from members how, despite having the best intentions, they could still end up making bad moves that will put the future of the child in jeopardy. Sadly, this is something that many people are conversant with.

For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w165e2 tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there, it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. And so, the posts that will be featured not just for their exceptional content, but also for their level of engagement with other authors, will be listed below.

THE INVISIBLE VICTIMS: CHILDREN TRAPPED IN BROKEN SYSTEMS by manclar@manclar

This author told us that many times, institutions created to cater to the needs of children usually end up not doing the very thing they were created for. Despite a huge amount of taxpayers' money going into funding such things, corruption makes it hard for the funds to get to their appropriate destinations, and in the end, the innocent children suffer for it.

TOXIC RELATIONSHIPS by terganftp@terganftp

For this author, he admits that no one is perfect. Parents are human, as well as the child services who come to carry out inspections for the benefit of the children. Working in such institutions is not easy; it demands a lot, and there are not enough resources to make it any easier. For some kids, the only people who might ever get to stand for them are child services.

CHILD SERVICES, JUSTICE OR INJUSTICE kilvnrex@kilvnrex

For this author, he reminded us that not every country had a working child protection service. In a world where so many children suffer from abuse and neglect, such institutions should never be lacking. Hopefully, policies will be put in place to give the children more rights and protect them better.

All of the above contents were supported by our official curation account lazy-panda with an extra amount. The first 3 authors will receive 100 ECENCY Points [ Sponsored By Ecency Team (melinda010100@melinda010100) ] and 1 $PANDAMINER each as a reward next Monday. These posts were selected because of their special attention to detail and how they followed the topic. There were a lot of good ones out there, but we just could not pick them all.

But then, we have some honorable mentions listed below:

Honorable Mention

CHILD PROTECTION IN CANADA, ARE WE BEING FAIR ENOUGH? by gwajnberg@gwajnberg

ARE CHILD SERVICES MEETING THE NEEDS OF TODAY’S CHILDREN? by nhaji01@nhaji01

THE IMPORTANCE OF THE GUARDIANSHIP COUNCIL IN PROTECTING OUR CHILDREN by shiftrox@shiftrox

These are posts that were also found to be quite exceptional.
