Singer, Dancer, Performing Philosopher – Introducing Myself To The Hive
Fellow distinguished ladies and gentlemen, freaks, geeks and legendary peeps; I wanted to take the time to introduce myself to The Hive.
Who Am I
First and foremost, I identity myself as a singer-songwriter, dancer and musician. I like the term purveyor of awesome vibes as ultimately I strive to uplift the vibration of the planet by inspiring people. I’ve always found that one of the greatest things you can do to enact change in the world is to inspire people, and music is a powerful tool that can be used to achieve this. I’ve been performing from a young age. I grew up dancing as a kid in my hometown of Ghana, West Africa, and moved to Melbourne, Australia at the age of 4. I joined the stage band in high school and was part of a boyband known as Track 5 for several years after graduating. More recently I was coached by Will.i.am on the hit show The Voice, where I was fortunate enough to dance and sing in front of some of my childhood idols like Ricky Martin, Joel Madden and Kylie Minogue.
Another area of passion that I’ve had from a young age is an obsession with what I like to call WSFM. Weird Science and Friggen Magic. I grew up being heavily influenced by esoteric mystery schools, kemitism, hermetical sciences, Krishna consciousness, theosophy, ufology, conspiracy theories, alternative history, divination, the occult and I have a general love of philosophy, technology, health, science and metaphysics.
I have a podcast on iTunes known as The Krishool Journey where I interview various guests and rant about issues ranging from pop culture, veganism, liberty, crypto and many of the above-mentioned topics.

Where I am
I've always considered my perseverance and dogged grim determination to be my greatest asset. However, I'm learning that it’s important to take a step back and that sometimes the surest way to succeed at something is to stop trying to succeed at it.
Over the past months, I feel like I’ve pushed myself too hard in certain areas and after having just recovered from Achilles tendonitis due to excessive training and having recently developed nodules from too much singing, I’ve come to the realization that unbridled passion without moderation can be unproductive. The body has it's own innate intelligence and unconsciously works towards its betterment when working harmoniously with the ebb and flow of the universe.
As the ancient Greeks once said ‘All things in moderation’.
Passion needs to be tempered with restraint. Chasing love, affection, attention or your dreams if it isn't given freely by another person or comes at a cost to your sanity or health isn't worthwhile. The best things in life happen naturally when you work in a state of balance, moving in passion but resting in reason. Therefore I’ve taken a step back to go within but will be getting back to my music gigs and starting up my podcast again with some great interviews lined up soon.
What I’ll be sharing and my philosophy
I look forward to sharing my perspectives on many of the issues we’re currently facing. 2020 is turning out to be one of the most prolific years of our generation in terms of global issues affecting freedom, health, and society. I hope to share a combination of uplifting and socially poignant information that evokes, inspires or invites people to question their moral certitudes and currently held positions on the state of affairs. I am someone that believes that there is no religion higher than truth, and thus do not subscribe to any identity politics or groupthink. I always strive to give an honest unbiased assessment untarnished by any political ideology or agenda. I believe in universal ethics and that all sentient beings are endowed with inalienable rights. That being said, I believe that we should wherever possible strive to cast a wider net of compassion, outside of ourselves, friends and family to our communities and all life, for there is not greater or beneficent force in the universe than that of pure unselfish love.
