Growing up from a middle class family was fun and crazy , cos there are days where life is quite rosy and also days that left me to question life. I grew up in devoted Christian home where from kid , having the fear of God and honesty was instilled in us by our parents and this has really helped and shaped us in any environments we find ourselves.
I spent part of my childhood life with my big mummy in the village, Mbaise in Imo state precisely, where i was privileged to experience childhood and village life , like going to stream to fetch spring water, fetching of firewoods, hunting of mushrooms and also Africa oil bean (Ugba), and i also had the opportunity to learn how to prepare cocoyam soup (ofe ede) which is one of my favorite soup .i really enjoyed my childhood life outside my home ,because i had lots of experiences.
My Educational background:
I did my primary school in the village, where i obtained my common entrance and first leaving certificate examination.
I united back with my family in Owerri, where i did my secondary school and gained admission to Abia state polytechnic Aba , Nigeria.
I studied Science laboratory technology during my Ordinary National Diploma (OND) and Microbiology in my Higher National Diploma (HND).Being a science student also a microbiologist has really helped me ,in my day to day activities, like being cautious of what i consume, awareness of microbes in things we do neglect and also it have given me the knowledge of knowing some medicinal values of some plants, fruits seed and peels.
During my final project, i did a research on unripe and ripe papaya( pawpaw) peel, which i was able to know the antibacterial activities among the two, which proved that ,unripe papaya peels has a great effect on bacteria such as Escherichia coli(E.coli),Staphylococcus aureus and Salmonella typhi.
Life wasn't smooth at all, during my higher institution but i never give up and also as a very hardworking lady, I worked and study inorder to support my family.
I graduated with a good grade and i also did my Service.
My service life Nysc:
i was opportuned to serve my Father land in central north , Nasarawa state precisely, Maramara in Nasarrawa local govt .i was privileged to have knowledge of other people's culture , foods and beliefs My service year was quite impactful because, i engaged in community development goals and also i educate the young girls about sex education and hygiene.
