Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. My garden is growing again. Here is a quick update on my vegetable growth—everything is coming along beautifully. And I also spent some time planting three new types of vegetables. Let's start with the cucumbers in the 4-inch plastic pots. They are now 16 days old. Although only three of the 4-inch plastic pots germinated from the seeds I planted, but they are growing well, with the cucumbers in two of the pots already having 5 leaves and is approximately 15 centimeters tall. The cucumber in the remaining pot is growing slower than the other two. There are also 5 more cucumber plants in the garden that were planted earlier, and they are starting to bear fruit.
Next, let's check on the luffa in the 4-inch plastic pots. They are currently 16 days old, just like the cucumbers. And the luffa only sprouted from seeds in 3 plastic pots too. The luffa seedlings resembles the cucumber seedlings but has slightly bigger leaves. And right now, these luffa is about 14 centimeters tall but has 6–7 leaves.
Next, let's take a look at the yardlong beans in the 4-inch plastic pots. Yardlong beans were planted on the same day as luffa and cucumbers. Therefore, they are all 16 days old now. However, the yardlong beans have sprouted from seeds in only two plastic pots, they are nearly 20 centimeters tall and have five leaves.
Next, let's take a look at the vegetables I've added to the home garden, I planted three new types of vegetables, the first vegetable is bok choy. I want to grow more of this vegetable. I have several empty plastic baskets left over from a failed attempt to grow kale. So I planted them in these plastic baskets. This time, I used four plastic baskets.
The second vegetable is luffa. I planted them in 4-inch plastic pots as I did previously. But this time, I planted them in eight 4-inch plastic pots.
The last vegetable is the hyacinth bean. I haven't planted this vegetable in months. However, I still have some seeds kept from the mature hyacinth bean pods from my last harvest. This time, I grew hyacinth beans in eight 4-inch plastic pots, which is equal to the number of luffas I planted this time.
