Where I live, it's exactly the gardening season right now. Mowing the grass, watering the planted crops, hoeing, and doing other maintenance. The crops we planted are starting to grow day by day. In the previous post, I talked about peppers, tomatoes, and basil. Now I'll talk about green beans, cucumbers, and zucchini.

Cucumbers. They love sun and water. The better the care, the higher the quality of the produce. We planted a little less cucumber this year. They will start to flower in a few weeks, then the leaves will grow a little more and lengthen. After that, the cucumbers will slowly mature. Growth is quite rapid. A cucumber a few centimeters long will exceed 10 centimeters in a week.
Salatalık. Güneşi ve suyu çok sever. Ne kadar iyi bakım olursa ürünler o kadar kaliteli oluyor. Bu yıl salatalığı bir miktar az ektik. Bir kaç hafta sonra çiçek açmaya başlar, ardından yaprraklar biraz daha büyür, uzar. Sonrasında salatalık yavaştan olgunlaşır. Büyüme oldukça hızlı olur. Bir kaç santimlik salatalık bir hafta içinde 10 santimi geçer.
Green beans grow quickly. We placed stakes next to them to encourage them to grow taller. This way, the green beans will wrap around the stakes and continue to grow.

We're not watering the green beans right now. We'll start watering them when they flower. This will help them grow healthier. Green beans are also quite fast-growing plants. I think we'll be able to harvest them and start using them in meals within a month.

Because zucchini spreads quite widely, we plant them along the edges of the garden. They spread to the uncultivated areas on the other side of the garden. Zucchini are fast-growing plants, so they love sun and water. They start to flower in the coming days. Zucchini harvesting usually takes place towards the end of autumn. They are used in dishes that are enjoyed during the winter season. I can't say I particularly enjoy zucchini dishes. That was the current situation in my garden. I plan to update you about the other crops in my garden in a few days.
